As a native and current resident of Suffolk County, Nicole Davis was influenced by her passion for helping people and attended Florida Coastal School of Law. During her time there, Nicole served as managing editor for the Public Interest Research Bureau and as a judicial extern to the Honorable Judge DeStefano of the State Supreme Court of New York. Upon graduation, Nicole also received Pro Bono recognition.
While attending law school, Nicole’s grandfather was diagnosed with dementia. It was her love for him and seeing how this diagnosis affected him and her family that eventually led her to seek a concentration in elder law and the practice of estate planning. The fact she now works at such a supportive, client-orientated firm, not far from where she was born and where her grandfather lived, makes it a full circle moment for her.
Prior to joining the law firm, Nicole served as a Suffolk County Assistant District Attorney, prosecuting misdemeanor crimes from client intake through disposition. Nicole transitioned into her elder law career, as she is passionate about educating clients on the importance of long term care planning. Nicole represented clients in guardianship matters, probate and estate administrations, and Medicaid eligibility planning. She has also handled estate planning for high net worth clients, including the preparation of wills and a multitude of trusts designed to minimize estate and gift taxes.
Apart from the firm, Ms. Davis assists with volunteer work and is an active member of the church.
